1st Match: Christian defeated “Dashing” Cody Rhodes via Pinfall (Killswitch) Referee: Chad Patton

Rhodes cut a Heel Promo before the match. He asked the ladies who they thought was better looking: ladies sided with Christian on this one. Rhodes also made a Stipulation: No wrestler can hit the other person in the face. Good back and forth match: crowd solely behind Christian. Christian worked Cody early. Few nearfalls. Christian hit his Flying Back Elbow & Springboard Sunset Flip. Cody then hit the Alabama Slam; a Springboard Savat Kick. Christian got the edge and hit the Killswitch for the Pinfall.

1. Christian defeated “Dashing” Cody Rhodes with the Killswitch. Cody got on the mic before the match and asked if we thought Christian was good looking. Of course, he thought he was much more handsome. Good match in that Rhodes hit the Alabama Slam but Christian kicked out before hitting his finisher to win.

After the match, Alberto Del Rio ran in and laid out Christian. He then got on the mic and said he should be the one who challenged Kane for the World title tonight. He was also upset that he had to settle for wrestling Chavo Guerrero instead.

5. The Miz defeated Evan Bourne, Christian, and MVP in a Fatal Four-way to retain the U.S. Title. Miz came out first and was great. He said we better not boo him because we didn’t know what he went through to get there. He woke up at four to catch a plane to perform for us…at a barn (the arena is pathetic, especially compared to where they will be next Sunday).

Before the match, Christian raised his arm to an okay pop and then pointed to Miz, who was booed. Christian pointed to the other faces and then back to Miz. He shrugged as Miz was booed again. Good match. Bourne hit his shooting star on MVP and then Miz threw out Bourne, and pinned MVP for the win. After the match, MVP was hugging Bourne. I don’t get why you would hug the guy that just splashed you and caused you to get pinned.

A Masterlock challenge was announced and Santino came out to answer. But Santino didn’t want to do it because he said Masters has already beat him in it before, so they had a match instead.
